and games… within a beautiful natural setting. Informal nature connection for the whole family. Time:
10am - 12.30pm Optional picnic lunch 12.30 onwards
Nature Skills Club for Kids An exciting opportunity for those
interested in adventure, nature, tracking or woodland skills (target age 7 – 12). The programme will combine skills,
activities and games with opportunities for play and exploration. Time: Saturdays 10.00am - 12.00, 1 - 3pm Half Term Day Camp: Mon 24th
– Fri 28th October We’re really excited to offer this 5-day inspirational immersion in nature skills
for kids aged 8 – 12. The day-camp runs daily from 10am – 2pm (Mon – Fri) and is will take participants
on a journey of nature based activities and adventures over the course of the week. Time: 10am - 2pm each day
Workshops: Sun 30th Oct
– Bushcraft Basics A practical exploration
of meeting survival needs from the environment including shelter, fire and identifying useful and edible plants.
Sun 13th Nov – Tracking and Nature Awareness The ability to read the landscape,
interpret signs and move with stealth is a key skill for naturalists and bushcrafters. An engaging introduction to this vast
subject.
Sun 4th Dec – Firecraft and Trees
Making and using a bow-drill set for creating fire, trees and their properties, selecting and gathering fire-making,
using fire as a tool.
