Nature Awareness - Bushcraft - Forest School

We're here to support you and your co-workers, groups, clients or children to connect with nature and develop foundational nature-based skills for an increased sense of wellbeing and confidence.

Many people want to have a greater sense of connection to nature, which includes a sense of competence, confidence and belonging in our interactions with the natural world.

We may like being in nature, but feel disconnected from a sense of involvement and meaning. We want to feel more at home.

Maybe we think that quality time in nature would benefit our children or clients, or maybe we aspire to work with nature and want to develop a solid foundation to support our practice which will come across as an embodied sense of knowledge and competence to clients and co-workers;

Our aim is to provide the input that will help you develop the foundations of competence and connection in nature.:

A well-developed set of foundation of nature connection and basica skills will enhance any type of work or recreation that involves contact with nature, and there is increasing evidence as to the benefits for mental and physical wellbeing.

We offer:

  • Training for you or your staff in fundamental nature skills and knowledge;
  • Design  and facilitation workshops and programmes in bushcraft, nature connection or nature skills, suitable for both adults and children;
  • Delivery of a regular Forest School on two levels: a ‘nature games’ forest school for younger children / introductory level and a ‘nature competence’ forest school for older / more advanced children. Delivered either on a weekly basis during term time, on a monthly basis, or in blocks;
  • Partnership with you to design and deliver a customised training, programme or event;
  • Consultancy in managing your site for wildlife and nature connection, undertaking nature conservation tasks with groups and minimising environmental impacts from your outdoor activities.
Please get in touch if you want to discuss a workshop, programme or activity session for your group, or if you want assistance with setting up or running nature-based programmes at your site. Our contact details are at the top of the page
